The Shelby County Youth Assistance Program takes a holistic approach to coordinate our community’s existing array of talents, services and resources to help youth and empower parents and caregivers. Referrals for the Shelby County Youth Assistance Program come from school counselors, the prosecutor’s office, police departments, and other community members. Once we receive your referral, a Shelby County Youth Assistance Program representative will contact the family and work with them to develop a plan for services.
